Rakesh Tikait court arrest in Lakhimpur Kheri

On 5 September, 2022, in Shamli district’s headquarter in UP, Bharatiya Kisan Union called for an indefinitely long protest regarding several longstanding demands of farmers. BKU’s National Spokesperson Rakesh Tikait addressed the gathering of farmers, and reassuring their support with farmers, said that the protest will go on until their demands have been met. Rakesh Tikait expressed anger at BJP minister Ajay Singh Taini and said he would go and court arrest in Lakhimpur Kheri. A ChalChitra Abhiyaan Report.
