Kandhla Dussehra Mela: Symbol of Hindu-Muslim Unity

Every year, a fair is organised in the Shamli district's Kandhla township on the occasion on Dussehra. Despite Kandhla being a muslim majority town, a major chunk of the shopkeepers and the people coming to see the fair are muslim. This fair, which has been organised here for more than 100 years, has become a part of culture for people here. Even in 2013, when communal tensions were on the rise after the Muzaffarnagar riots, this fair wasn't stopped. This fair is a symbol of Hindu-Muslim unity for this town and holds even more value in today's time. Crew- Shakib yameen Rangrezz, Vishal Stonewall, Aryan Mattha, Rahul Sherwal
