Around the end of March 2020, large sections of Indian media and the government went overboard attacking Tablighi Jamaat, claiming that the organisation and its congregation at Nizamuddin, Delhi was responsible for massive spike in Covid 19 cases in India. However, is that really the truth or was the government along with the media simply trying to communalise the issue to hide government failures? ChalChitra Abhiyaan investigates.

मार्च २०२० के अंत में भारत की मीडिया के बड़े हिस्से ने और सरकार ने तबलीगी जमात पर ज़बरदस्त निशाना दागा। उनका आरोप था कि तबलीग की निज़ामुद्दीन की मरकज़ के चलते देश भर में कोरोना वाइरस फैला है। लेकिन, क्या यह आरोप सच था या क्या मीडिया और सरकार ने मिल कर इस मुद्दे को सांप्रदायक बना दिया ताकि सरकार हिंदू-मुस्लिम के शोर के पीछे अपने ग़लतियाँ छुपा पाए? चलचित्र अभियान ने इस मुद्दे पर करी तहक़ीक़ात।
