गोरखपुर के प्रेमचंद पार्क में चलचित्र अभियान की टीम ने शिक्षा मित्रों, अनुदेशकों और प्रेरकों से बात की जिनके साथ पिछले कुछ सालों में बहोत शोषण हुआ है। सरकार के शिक्षा विभाग की विभिन्न योजनाओं के अंतर्गत काम करने वाले इन लोगों का वेतन नहीं बढ़ाया जा रहा है और जो मिल रहा है वह समय पर नहीं मिल रहा है। इसके चलते इनकी आर्थिक हालत बहुत बिगड़ गयी है और पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश में 1200 शिक्षा मित्रों ने आत्महत्या भी कर ली है।

In Gorakhpur’s Premchand Park, the team of ChalChitra Abhiyaan met with Shiksha Mitras, Anudeshaks and Preraks who have faced a lot of exploitation in the last few years. Working in schools as a part of various government schemes, the salary of these employees haven’t been increased for a long time. Along with this, most of these employees don’t get there salaries on time. Owing to this, their economic condition has severely deteriorated and 1200 shiksha mitras across UP have committed suicide.
