On 1 November, 2022, in Goyla village of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, the women’s wing of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) organised a meeting of the Hari Chunri Chaupal. National Spokesperson of the BKU, Rakesh Tikait, addressed the gathering at the meeting and asserted the women need to come forward to claim their rights.
