मेरठ ज़िले के पोहल्ली गॉँव में और ग़ाज़ियाबाद ज़िले के कनकपुर गाँव में दलितों की ज़मीनों के दबंगों ने ज़बरदस्ती कब्जाया हुआ है। इसके ख़िलाफ़ मेरठ के दलित संगठन ब्लू पैंथरस ने विरोध प्रदर्शन किया और नारा दिया कि हनुमान की पूँछ तुम रखो हमें हमारी ज़मीन दो।

Lands belonging to Dalits in Pohalli village in Meerut district and Kanakpur village in Ghaziabad district have been illegally occupied by people from dominant castes. Blue Panthers, a Dalit group protested against this in Meerut city and gave the slogan, ‘You keep Hanuman’s Tail, Give us our Lands’
