जैसे जैसे कोरोना महामारी देश में बढ़ रही है, चलचित्र अभियान ने डॉ परबीर चैटर्जी से इस महामारी पर सरकार के रवैय्ये पर बात करी। डॉ परबीर चैटर्जी छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के मानव अधिकार आयोग का हिस्सा रहे हैं और कई साल इन्होंने मिटेनन स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों को ट्रेन किया है। इस इंटर्व्यू में डॉ परबीर ने एक मज़बूत सरकारी स्वास्थ्य विभाग की बात करी है, और इस बात को जताया कि जब तक भारत के पास एक मज़बूत स्वास्थ्य विभाग नही होगा तब तक ऐसी बीमारियों से लड़ना मुश्किल रहेगा।उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि लॉक डाउन में जो सावधानियाँ सरकार को लेनी चाहिए थी वो नही ली जिसकी वजह से कोरोना वाइरस से लड़ना और भी मुश्किल हो चुका है।

As the Corona Pandemic spreads in India, ChalChitra Abhiyaan speaks with Dr. Prabir Chatterjee about the government response on the issue. Dr. Prabir is with SHRC, Chhattisgarh and has also trained with Mitinan health workers in Chhattisgarh. In this interview, Dr. Prabir talks about the need for a strengthened public health sector and that India would find it very difficult to successfully take on a pandemic like Corona Virus if does not have a robust public health sector. He also talks about all the problems in the implementation of the Lockdown and how that can further compromise the fight against the spread of Corona Virus.
