13 दिसंबर 2024 दिल्ली संसद भवन लोकसभा में ‘भारत के संविधान की 75 वर्षों की गौरवशाली यात्रा’ पर चर्चा के दौरान कैराना लोकसभा से समाजवादी पार्टी सांसद इकरा हसन ने संसद में अपने संबोधन के दौरान कहा कि कि आज देश पिछड़े, दलित, अल्पसंख्यकों क समुदाय को अपने संवैधानिक अधिकारों और आजादी की हिफाजत (सुरक्षा) के लिए हर रोज मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ता है. इकरा हसन का ये भी कहना हैं कि हेट स्पीच, मॉब लिंचिंग, बुलडोजर के जरिये घरों को गिराने की घटनाएं आम हो गई हैं. खासतौर पर उत्तर प्रदेश में, जहां ऐसा लगा रहा है कि कानून के नाम पर जंगलराज चल रहा है और साथ साथ में इकरा हसन बांग्लादेश में हिन्दुओं के साथ हो रहे अत्याचार का भी ज़िक्र किया ।

During a discussion in the Lok Sabha on the topic of ‘75 Glorious Years of the Indian Constitution,’ Samajwadi Party MP from Kairana, Ikra Hasan, addressed the challenges faced by marginalized communities. She stated that backward classes, Dalits, and minorities face daily struggles to safeguard their constitutional rights and freedoms.
Ikra Hasan also highlighted the growing incidents of hate speech, mob lynching, and the use of bulldozers to demolish homes, describing them as becoming alarmingly common. She particularly criticized the situation in Uttar Pradesh, comparing it to a state of lawlessness under the guise of governance. Additionally, she raised concerns about the atrocities being committed against Hindus in Bangladesh.
