4 मई 2025 को ज़िला शामली के गांव सोंटा रसूलपुर में किसान मजदूर पंचायत हुई। जिसमें आस – पास के किसानों ने बड़ी संख्या में हिस्सा लिया । इस पंचायत में भारतीय किसान यूनियन के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता चौधरी राकेश टिकैत भी पहुंचे उन्होंने सभा को संबोधित किया । किसानों ने पगड़ी की घटना को मान – सम्मान की लड़ाई बताया और आंदोलन को मजबूत करने की बात कही ।

On May 4, 2025, a Kisan Mazdoor Panchayat was held in Sonta Rasoolpur village of Shamli district. In which a large number of farmers participated. Bharatiya Kisan Union national spokesperson Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait also reached this panchayat and addressed the meeting. The farmers described the turban incident as a battle of honour and talked about strengthening the movement.
