उत्तर प्रदेश ज़िला शामली में बकाया गन्ना भुगतान ना मिलने के कारण आस – पास गांव के किसानों ने शामली शुगर मिल पर धरना दे रखा है समय पर भुगतान न करने और मिल प्रशासन के झूठे वादों से परेशान होकर किसानों ने शामली कलेक्ट्रेट की और कूच किया लेकिन प्रशासन ने उन्हें सड़क पर ही रोक दिया जिसकी वजह से किसानों ने सड़क पर ही अपनी मांगों के साथ धरना शुरू कर दिया। CCA की टीम ने किसानों से बातचीत की। जिसमें किसानों का कहना हैं कि जब तक हमारा संपूर्ण गन्ना भुगतान नहीं होता हैं। हम यहाँ से नहीं उठने वाले हैं

Farmers from nearby villages in Shamli district, Uttar Pradesh, are staging a protest at the Shamli Sugar Mill due to unpaid sugarcane dues. Frustrated by delayed payments and false promises from the mill administration, the farmers marched towards the Shamli Collectorate, but the administration stopped them. As a result, the farmers protested right on the road, demanding their dues. The CCA team spoke with the farmers, who stated they would not move until their full payment is received.
