13 जून को भारतीय किसान यूनियन ने ज़िला शामली के खेड़ीकरमु बिजली घर दिया धरना। किसानों के खेतों में लगे मीटर भी उखाड़ कर बिजली घर पर जमा कर दिए हैं। किसानों का कहना हैं कि हम खेतो के नलकूपों पर मीटर नही लगने देंगे।

On June 13, the Bharatiya Kisan Union staged a protest at the electricity department in Khedikaramu, Shamli district. The farmers have also removed meters installed in their fields and submitted them to the electricity department. The farmers assert that they will not allow meters to be installed on their tube wells.
