उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने इस साल भी गन्ने का समर्थन मूल्य ₹370 प्रति क्विंटल ही रखा है, जिससे किसान नाराज हैं। पिछले दो सालों से गन्ने के दाम नहीं बढ़ाए गए, जबकि डीजल, खाद, और मजदूरी का खर्च लगातार बढ़ रहा है। चलचित्र अभियान की टीम ने ज़िला शामली की शुगर मिल पर किसानों से बातचीत की, जहां वे सरकार की नीतियों से नाराज दिखे। किसानों का कहना है कि गन्ने की लागत बढ़ने के बावजूद दाम न बढ़ना उनके लिए भारी नुकसान है। कुछ किसानों ने चेतावनी दी कि अगर जल्द ही कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी नहीं हुई, तो वे आंदोलन करने को मजबूर होंगे। देखिए ग्राउंड रिपोर्ट किसानों की जुबानी।

The Uttar Pradesh government has once again set the sugarcane support price at ₹370 per quintal this year, leaving farmers dissatisfied. For the past two years, the price of sugarcane has remained unchanged, even as the costs of diesel, fertilizers, and labor continue to rise.
The Chalchitra Abhiyan team visited the Shamli Sugar Mill in Uttar Pradesh and spoke to farmers who expressed their frustration with government policies. According to them, despite the increasing cost of cultivation, the stagnant price is causing significant financial losses. Some farmers have even warned that if the prices are not increased soon, they will be forced to launch a protest.
