उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला शामली में रोजाना सुबह से मज़दूर चौक पर दिहाड़ी मज़दूर मजदूरी करने के लिए भारी संख्या में इक्कठा होते है शामली मज़दूर चौक पर आस – पास के गांव से काफी मज़दूर आते है उनमें से किसी को काम मिलता है और कुछ को काम नहीं मिलता बहुत से मज़दूरों को खाली हाथ घर वापस जाना पड़ता है CCA की टीम को मज़दूरों ने बताया कि यहां मज़दूर चौक पर मज़दूरों के लिए कोई सुविधा नहीं की गई है और न ही प्रशासन मदद करता है मज़दूरों की हालत काफी गम्भीर स्थिति में है मज़दूरों ने प्रशासन और सरकार के सामने अपनी मांगों को रखा है ।

In Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, a large number of daily wage workers have been collected at the workers’ Chowk from the morning. Many workers from nearby villages come to Shamli Mazdoor Chowk. Some of them get work and some do not get work. Many workers have to go back home empty-handed. The workers told the team of CCA that no facility has been provided for the workers here at the worker’s Chowk nor does the administration help. The condition of the workers is in a very serious condition. They have put their demands before the administration and the government.
