उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला शामली में स्थित अपर दोआब शुगर मिल पर किसान बकाया गन्ना भुगतान को लेकर पिछलें कई दिनों से आंदोलन कर रहे हैं। CCA की टीम ने किसानों से बातचीत की। जिसमें किसानों का कहना हैं कि अगर सोमवार की दोपहर 2:00 बजे तक किसानों की समस्याओं का समाधान नहीं होता तो, सभी किसान शामली कलेक्ट्रेट पहुंचकर तालाबंदी करेंगे और कलेक्ट्रेट के बाहर ही सड़क पर जाम लगाकर धरना प्रदर्शन शुरू कर देंगे ।

Farmers in the Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh have been protesting over unpaid sugarcane dues at the Upper Doab Sugar Mill for several days. The CCA team spoke to the farmers, who stated that if their issues are not resolved by 2:00 PM on Monday, all farmers will march to the Shamli Collectorate, lock it down, and block the road outside the Collectorate to begin a sit-in protest.
