21 फ़रवरी को भारतीय किसान यूनियन ने शामली के ज़िला मुख्यालय पर शंभू बॉर्डर पर चल रहे किसान आंदोलन और किसानों की 14 सूत्रीय मांगों को लेकर एक दिवसीय धरना प्रदर्शन किया। किसानों का कहना है कि सरकार अपना तानाशाही रवैया अपना रही है। किसानों ने डीएम शामली किसानों की समस्याओं को लेकर भी ज्ञापन सौंपा।

On February 21, the Bhartiya Kisan Union staged a one-day protest at the Shamli district headquarters, expressing solidarity with the ongoing farmers’ movement at the Shambhu Border and presenting the 14-point demands of the farmers. The farmers claim that the government is continuing its authoritarian behaviour. The farmers also submitted a memorandum to the Shamli District Magistrate (DM) regarding the issues faced by farmers.
