इकरा हसन ने संसद में वक्फ़ संशोधन बिल 2025 पर जबरदस्त भाषण दिया। उन्होंने सरकार पर मुस्लिम समुदाय के खिलाफ़ नीतियां लाने का आरोप लगाया और पूछा कि “प्रैक्टिसिंग मुस्लिम” की शर्त सिर्फ़ वक्फ़ बोर्ड के लिए ही क्यों रखी गई है, जबकि हिंदू और अन्य धार्मिक ट्रस्टों पर ऐसी पाबंदियां नहीं हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह बिल मुसलमानों की संपत्तियों और उनके अधिकारों को सीमित करने की साजिश है। साथ ही, उन्होंने एक महिला का जिक्र किया जो वक्फ़ प्रॉपर्टी में रहती थी, लेकिन नए नियमों के कारण उसे घर से बेदखल करने का खतरा था।
इकरा हसन ने अपने भाषण में मोदी सरकार पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि यह बिल “मुसलमानों के साथ अन्याय” की ओर बढ़ रहा है।
Iqra Hasan gave a strong speech in Parliament on the Waqf Amendment Bill 2025, accusing the government of introducing policies against the Muslim community. She questioned why the condition of being a “practicing Muslim” was imposed only for Waqf Board members, while Hindu and other religious trusts faced no such restrictions.
She stated that this bill was a conspiracy to limit Muslims’ properties and rights. Additionally, she mentioned a woman who lived on Waqf property but now faced eviction due to the new regulations.
Targeting the Modi government, Iqra Hasan said that this bill was a step toward injustice against Muslims.
