भारतीय सान यूनियन के द्वारा मंगलवार को पानीपत खटीमा राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर ज़िला मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर के गाँव जागाहेडी के पास टोल प्लाजा शुरू किये जाने के विरोध में महापंचायत की। महापंचायत में पहुंचे भाकियू के प्रवक्ता राकेश टिकैत ने कहा कि कीमत उसी चीज की वसूली जाती है, जो पूरी दी जा रही हो। जबकि यहां सरकार की जोर जबरदस्ती चल रही है। यहां पर सड़क पूरी नहीं बनी, पुल नहीं बनाया गया, इस अधूरे निर्माण के बावजूद किसानों की हाईवे से जुड़ी मांगों को पूरा नहीं कराया जा रहा है।

Rakesh Tikait, the spokesperson for BKU, stated in the assembly that only the price of what is provided should be collected, in contrast to the forceful actions by the government. Despite incomplete construction, with roads and bridges yet to be completed, the demands of the farmers related to the highway are not being fulfilled. Tikait commented that the government has even made Lord Ram a part of its administration.
