उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला शामली के गांव बुटराड़ा में किसान संघर्ष समिति द्वारा महापंचायत का अयोजन किया । दिल्ली-देहरादून इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर की भूमि का मुआवज़ा बढ़ाने की मांग को लेकर भाकियू के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता राकेश टिकैत ने महापंचायत को संबोधित किया।

A Maha-panchayat was held in Butrara village of Shamli district in Uttar Pradesh on the invocation of the Kisaan Sangharsh Samiti. The panchayat was organized to discuss the farmers’ demand for rightful compensation for the land acquitted for the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor. Rakesh Tikait, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisaan Union (BKU), addressed the gathering of farmers.
