भारतीय किसान यूनियन ने उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर के क़स्बा सिसौली में शनिवार को पंचायत बुलाई है। जिसमें आसपास के राज्यों के किसानों ने हिस्सा लिया। राकेश टिकैत कहना हैं कि राष्ट्रीय कमेटी ने निर्णय लिया है, 21 फरवरी को किसानों को ज़िला मुख्यालय पर ट्रैक्टर मार्च के लिए तैयार रहना है। जरूरत पड़ी तो यूपी का किसान दिल्ली कूच करने से भी पीछे नहीं हटेगा। सरकार किसानों की लड़ाई को कमजोर करना चाहती है। सरकार किसानों को डराने का काम करेगी तो हम डरेंगे नहीं। इस पंचायत पर सभी देश की निगाह हैं। अब देश का किसान हक नहीं शहीदी की बात करेगा।

Rakesh Tikait stated that the national committee has decided that farmers should be prepared for a tractor march to the district headquarters on February 21. If needed, the farmers of UP will not step back even from marching to Delhi. The government wants to weaken the farmers’ struggle. We will not be afraid if the government tries to scare the farmers. All eyes in the country are on this panchayat. Now, the country’s farmer will talk about rights, not martyrdom.
