9 अगस्त 2022 को ज़िला मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर के गांव बीटावदा में किसानो ने गन्ना भुगतान सहित अपनी अन्य मांगो को लेकर के पंचायत की ।
इस पंचायत में भारतीय किसान यूनियन के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता और किसान नेता राकेश टिकैत ने सभा संबोधित की। जिसमें उन्होंने सरकार की गलत नीतियों का विरोध किया।

On August 9, 2022, in Bitaoda village of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, a panchayat was held to discuss the issue of outstanding sugarcane payments that are due to farmers. The panchayat gathering was addressed by Farmer leader and the National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, Rakesh Tikait, and he spoke against those Government’s policies that are harming the farmers.
