यू पी में दलित विरोधी हिंसा थमने का नाम नही ले रही है l इन्टरनेट पर एक दलित नौजवान को धर्म के नाम पर पीटने की एक विडियो ने सबको झकझोर दिया l पुरक़ाज़ी, मुज़्ज़फ़रनगर में एक दलित युवक, विपिन कुमार को काम से लौटते वक़्त उसकी मोटरसाइकिल से उतार कर बेरहमी से पीटा और उसके भाई को बन्दूक की नोक पर धमकाया l इस घटना के खिलाफ पश्चिम उत्तर प्रदेश में दलित और अन्य प्रगतिशील संगठनों द्वारा विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी है l

Anti- Dalit violence continues to be on the rise in UP. A video that shook the internet recently showed a Dalit man being thrashed in the name of religion. Vipin Kumar was intercepted on his way to work, his brother Sonu held at gunpoint, while he was assaulted by a group of men in Purkazi, Muzaffarnagar. Various Dalit and other progressive organisations are protesting this incident across West UP.
