उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला मेरठ में 25 अक्टूबर 2023 एक दलित मिस्त्री की गोली मारकर हत्या की गई थी। इस घटना को लेकर 30 अक्टूबर 2023 को मेरठ के कमिश्नरी पार्क पर पीड़ित परिवार के लिए न्याय की माँग को लेकर प्रदर्शन किया। इस प्रदर्शन में भारी संख्या में लोग पहुँचें। DM के आश्वासन के बाद सभी लोग वापस चलें गए।

On October 25, 2023, a Dalit worker was shot and killed in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. In response to this incident, on October 30, 2023, a protest was held at Meerut’s Commissioner Park demanding justice for the victim’s family. A large number of people participated in this protest. After assurances from the District Magistrate (DM), everyone dispersed.
