उत्तर प्रदेश में ज़िला मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर क़स्बा बुढ़ाना के गाँव भैसाना शुगर मिल पर किसानों के गन्ने के बकाया भुगतान को लेकर 12 जनवरी 2023 से अनिश्चित कालीन धरना चल रहा है। किसानों ने शुगर मिल अधिकारियों पर दबाब बनाने के लिए तीन दिन के लिए मिल बंद कर दी है। इसके अलावा क्षेत्र के आवारा पशुओं को लाकर मिल के बाहर बने गार्डन में भरने का सिलसिला ज़ारी हैं। भैसाना चीनी मिल गेट पर भारतीय किसान यूनियन ने 18 जनवरी 2023 को महापंचायत का आयोजन किया। इस महापंचायत में कई गाँव के किसान शामिल हुए।

An indefinite strike is going on since January 12, 2023, at Bhaisana Sugar Mill, village Budhana, Muzaffarnagar town, Uttar Pradesh, for the payment of sugarcane arrears. The farmers have closed the mill for three days to put pressure on the sugar mill officials. Apart from this, the process of bringing stray animals of the area and filling them in the garden outside the mill is going on. Bhartiya Kisan Union organised a mahapanchayat on January 18, 2023 at Bhaisana Sugar Mill Gate. Farmers from many villages participated in this mahapanchayat.
