25 जून 2024 को उत्तर प्रदेश में जिला मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर के गांव रतनपुरी थाने में भारतीय किसान यूनियन के बैनर तले एक किसान पंचायत आयोजित की गई है जिसमे पुलिस प्रशासन द्वारा भाकियू के कार्यकर्ताओं पर झूठे मुकदमे लगाने और बिजली विभाग की मनमानी लेकर रतनपुरी थाना मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर में किसानों ने धरना दिया। किसानों का कहना कि जब तक हमारी मांग पूरी नहीं होती ये आंदोलन चलता रहेगा।

On June 25, 2024, under the banner of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, a farmers’ council was organized at the Ratanpuri police station in Ratanpuri village, Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh. Farmers protested at the Ratanpuri police station against the police administration for filing false cases against BKU workers and against the arbitrariness of the electricity department. The farmers stated that the protest will continue until their demands are met.
