उत्तर प्रदेश में लोकसभा 2024 के चुनाव के बाद लगभग 9 सीटों पर विधानसभा उपचुनाव होने है जिसमे से उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला मुजफ्फरनगर की एक सीट मीरापुर विधानसभा है इस सीट पर उपचुनाव को लेकर सभी पार्टियों ने अपने प्रत्याशी घोषित कर दिए हैं। समाजवादी पार्टी से पूर्व सांसद कादिर राणा की पुत्रवधु सुंबुल राणा रालोद से मितलेश पाल, एसपी से जाहिद हुसैन और बीएसपी से शाहनजर चुनावी मैदान में हैं। Cca की टीम से मीरापुर विधानसभा के गांव नरसिंहपुर गांव में दलित समाज के लोगों से बात की।

After the Lok Sabha 2024 elections, by-elections are set to take place for around nine assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, including the Meerapur constituency in Muzaffarnagar district. All major parties have announced their candidates for this seat: Sumbul Rana, daughter-in-law of former MP Qadir Rana, from the Samajwadi Party; Mithlesh Pal from RLD; Zahid Hussain from SP; and Shah Nazar from BSP.
The CCA team visited the village of Narsinghpur in the Meerpur constituency to speak with members of the Dalit community.
