उत्तर प्रदेश में लोकसभा 2024 के चुनाव के बाद लगभग 10 सीटों पर विधानसभा उपचुनाव होने है उपचुनाव की तारीख अब 20 नवंबर हो गई है जो पहले 13 थी। जिसमे से उत्तर प्रदेश के ज़िला मुजफ्फरनगर की एक सीट मीरापुर विधानसभा है इस सीट पर उपचुनाव को लेकर सभी पार्टियों ने अपने प्रत्याशी घोषित कर दिए हैं। समाजवादी पार्टी से पूर्व सांसद कादिर राणा की पुत्रवधु सुंबुल राणा रालोद से मितलेश पाल, एसपी से जाहिद हुसैन और बीएसपी से शाहनजर चुनावी मैदान में हैं। CCA की टीम से मीरापुर विधानसभा के गाँव तन्देरा में सर्वसमाज के लोगों से बात की। जिसमें जनता का कहना है कि किसानों की तरफ़ कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया हैं। भाजपा के शासनकाल में अच्छे काम हुए।

Following the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, by-elections are set to be held for around 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, now rescheduled for November 20 instead of the 13th. One of these seats is the Mirapur assembly seat in Muzaffarnagar district. All parties have announced their candidates for this by-election: Sumbul Rana, daughter-in-law of former MP Qadir Rana, from the Samajwadi Party; Mithlesh Pal from RLD; Zahid Hussain from SP; and Shahnaz from BSP. The CCA team spoke with residents from various communities in Tandera village in Mirapur, where people shared that farmers’ issues are being neglected, though positive work has been done under the BJP’s rule.
