7 अप्रैल 2025 को ज़िला मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर के गांव सिसौली में किसान भवन में एक मासिक पंचायत हुई जिसमें किसानों के अहम मुद्दों पर बात की गई। इस मासिक पंचायत को भारतीय किसान यूनियन के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नरेश टिकैत ने सभा को संबोधित किया। नरेश टिकैत का कहना है कि किसान आज बारूद के ढेर पर हैं। किसान को अपनी लड़ाई लड़नी पड़ेगी।
In April 2025, a monthly panchayat was held at the Kisan Bhavan in Sisoli village, district Muzaffarnagar, where key issues concerning farmers were discussed. Naresh Tikait, the National President of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, addressed the panchayat. According to Naresh Tikait, “Farmers are sitting on a powder keg today. They will have to fight their own battle.”
